The Process

Managing engineering teams showed me the effectiveness of setting quarterly goals and meeting weekly to discuss and iterate towards those goals. Research has shown that tangible and lasting change requires between 60-90 days of purposeful action. Based on this, I've adopted a similar process with my coaching practice. I meet with my clients periodically over Zoom, usually weekly for a period of 3 months, to identify actions that will result in impactful and lasting changes in their lives. At the end of 3 months, we evaluate the progress made towards your goals and decide where to go from there. This gives us a fixed deadline with a clear goal to work towards, keeping both of us accountable. In our first meeting we identify your goals, dig into the details and blockers, then we get to work iterating on action items to help you make progress towards the next goal.

As an ethical coach I'm here to support you as best I can with integrity and confidentiality. Sometimes in our time together we may discuss other factors in your life, more personal than professional, that may be challenging at the moment. That’s ok, I’m here to support you in all facets of your life, not just the 1/3rd of your time you spend at work.

Most of my clients are engineers or individuals who work in the software industry. I'm not exclusive to those who work in tech, but my engineer clients often appreciate my in-depth knowledge of their domain and the terminology. If you think you may benefit from my coaching, please reach out and lets have a conversation.
